Creation of the room numbers for the refurbishment of the emblematic Hotel Alfonso XIII in Seville in leather following the instructions of the decorator of the Starwood hotel chain. For this project we used 1mm leather and dyed it in a “sunflower” colour. It was then thickened to the required size and finally each piece was individually cut and bevelled to fit into the panels of each door. Finally, the numbers were heat-printed in gloss black using a non-existing typeface that had to be traced according to the client’s instructions.
The new Parador de Cádiz, the emblematic “Hotel Atlántico”, reopens its doors with new avant-garde lines and the most diverse materials. Acrylics, aluminium and vinyl have been used to give this new and luminous hotel a simple and modern signage. Anodised aluminium with milled texts was used for the room numbers and for the rest of the signage, methacrylates and vinyls with Pantone colour finishes. A modern, simple and very clean project in its installation.
